South Beach & Tigertail Beach
There are two main public beaches on the island. They are connected starting from South Beach on the southern end and ending at popular Tigertail beach on the North end of the island. Its about a 4 mile stretch of beachfront and is connected in the middle by Residents Beach (a private beach from permanent residents of the island only). The soft white sand is prevalent through out and being on the Gulf side of the state the water
is less wavy and calmer. Parking is between $8-$10. If you would like more information, check out our welcome book!
Everything You Need
